Message in the exhaust tract. A hole in the exhaust system will suck in a little bit of clean air as these low pressure waves pass by and it throws off the A/F reading.

The ZEM will allow you to discretely adjust timing or fuel delivery based on RPM and engine load.

The ECU uses 4-point interpolation when the RPM or the load value falls between a row or column. You are specifying the exact ignition timing advance BTDC. Red zone is the "knock zone", the only engine condition where the ECU actually listens to the detonation sensor.
